Training

Training programmes designed and tailored specifically for clients

Programme Design

All Programmes listed can be designed and tailored specifically for clients. Where possible they will include examples of working material supplied by the client.

In all cases the Aims and Objectives of the Programme will be identified and agreed with the client. Once the Programme is finalised copies will be supplied to the client to enable pre-training briefing meetings to be arranged by Line Managers. These Briefings, ideally, should take place during the week prior to the training programme delivery.

When the Programme is delivered, the Delegates will be asked to commit to identifying their individual needs from the topics to be covered. Throughout the training session at the end of each Module, Delegates will be asked to commit to an Action Plan for implementing the skills/knowledge gained.

A Programme Evaluation Form will be supplied to all Delegates to enable feedback to be given to the Line Manager.

A Review Meeting will be arranged with Line Managers to discuss any issues arising from the programme. Individual reports on Delegates can be prepared if required.

Where appropriate the relevant NVQ standards will be linked to the Programmes.

A high degree of interaction is encouraged throughout. Therefore, to enable individuals to gain maximum benefit, the group size is kept to a maximum of 10 Delegates. However, group sizes can be increased to up to 16 maximum if the Programme is extended in duration.

A variety of training methods are used within the design of the Programmes, including:

  • Core material/reinforcement - presentation style.
  • Group tasks - including presentation feedback from groups.
  • Individual tasks - including individual action plans.
  • Case-studies.
  • Training Videos Role-play (where appropriate) to include recording and feedback.
  • One to one on the job coaching.

Commitment to Quality

Where appropriate all Programmes designed are linked to the National Standards and can provide the underpinning knowledge, within the subject area, for those people working towards an NVQ.
